What a great read! History/mystery at its best, with just a bit of fact and a bit of fiction – the perfect blend! I recommend Dust of Lies to anyone that likes a good mystery……and I hear a sequel is coming soon!

GK DAVENPORT’S debut thriller offers some very dysfunctional family situation with quirky characters and turns into a heart-pounding mystery.

When reporter Kay covers a story on the demolition of the abandoned county jail, she finds a few lines scrawled on a piece of plaster: “Here I hang, With my face to the wall, Ora Price was the cause, of it all!” Kay set a goal of learning more about Ora Price. Her search caused a lot of conflict in the confusing extended family, even to pointing the finger at her husband.

The book had a steady pace and was an easy read. I enjoyed turning the pages and racing to the end to see what happens and who dun it. I read it in a single sitting and enjoyed it immensely, and the twist at the end.

Just finished reading this. Great book! It usually takes me the first half of a book to “get into it”, this book had me hooked from the beginning. Mystery mixed with pieces of history and a big shock at the end! Can’t wait for her next one.
